Description

Tucked inside Three Dots And A Dash, a Chicago based restaurant and bar, the Bamboo Room is a Polynesian inspired tiki bar replete with wall carvings, tropical kitsch and exotic drink concoctions. During the design process, the creatives at LEYE were looking for an exotic material to decorate the bar front. They wanted something that was both refined, but still retained a bit of that hand-carved feel. The Malabar C13 had what they were looking for and it was both easy to work with and easy to install. Concealed lighting was placed under neath the bar top to give the surface of the Malabar more depth and to have it stand out as a design element. The result speaks for itself.
